Brewer’s Notes: Crafted by our brewer Dustin, Umi is a crisp and refreshing Japanese-style Pilsner brewed with a generous amount of rice for a clean, dry finish. “Ume” means plum in Japanese, and while this isn’t a fruit bomb, it is a beautifully fruited beer. Subtle notes of plum come through on the nose and palate, offering just a touch of sweetness before giving way to a classic pilsner bite. Light, balanced, and easy-drinking, this beer was made for sipping by the lake.
