2014 Wet Hop

Harvest Ale

Men cry for them. Women die for them. Hops. Sticky, floral, locally harvested hops. For year number two, a group of amateur green thumbs floated out to the beautiful Brule River Hilltop Hop farm to harvest a whole heap of hops. Nearly 300 pounds of fresh hops were picked, sorted, transported, bagged and dumped in the brew kettle so that we could dry hop and concoct this lupulin laden, Wet Hop Harvest Ale. When sipped, space expands — time slows down, and almost stands still. Public enemy number one? No way.
